In Good Hands

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you complete repairs within a day?
Our highly skilled bodyshop technicians are solely dedicated to carrying out your vehicle repair from start to finish. We use special heat lamps to efficiently cure the paintwork enabling us to complete the repairs same day. The length of repair time will be confirmed at time of quote.

What if the repair takes more than one day?
Some repairs, usually multiple panels with major panel damage, may take two days. The length of repair will be confirmed at time of quote.

Can I choose the collection time and/or location?
Our usual collection time is between 7-8am and we can collect from a location convenient for you, provided the location is still within our area.

How much will my repair cost?
We are unable to price a repair precisely without either assessing the vehicle or seeing photographs of the damage.

How long are quotes valid for?
Quotes are valid for a period of 30 days.

Do you carry out insurance repairs?
Yes. We will need authorisation from your insurer to be able to proceed with the work. If you have been asked to collect quotes for repair work by your insurer, we will be pleased to assist.

Will the repair be noticeable?
No repair will be identical to an automotive factory finish, which is machine-sprayed to tolerances beyond human capability, however we ensure a high quality, bodyshop standard repair with a lifetime ownership guarantee.

Will you get the colour right? Do you use the manufacturer’s paint?
We use the world’s most respected colour matching system and use computer-assisted mixing to create the original paint colour, ensuring the best possible match.

When is the car ready to drive?
The car is ready for ordinary road use and weather exposure immediately after we have completed the repair.

Do you guarantee your repairs?
All bodywork repairs have a lifetime guarantee whilst ownership of the vehicle is retained by that person. Alloy wheel repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.

How do you accept payment?
We can accept payment by debit card, credit card or BACS transfer. Our office team will contact you to take payment once your vehicle has been returned.

How should I look after my bodywork repair?
We advise you not to wash, polish or wax the repaired area by hand or automatic machinery for a minimum of 5 days.

How should I look after my alloy wheels repairs?
Please allow 1 week before the first clean and ensure you use mild soapy warm water to clean the alloys regularly. Avoid car-wash wheel-cleaners, as well as jet/pressure washers as they can strip the lacquer and paint from stone chips or kerb damage on the wheel. Whilst there are dedicated alloy wheel cleaners available some may contain acid based chemicals which can erode the finish in the long term, whilst giving a good result in the short term. We would recommend you only use non-caustic based alloy wheel cleaners.
